Babcock Studios Class Sizzle Reel

At Babcock Studios after we work scenes and monologues extensively on the stage we often progress them to on-screen work. With camera, lights and body mics we try and shoot as close to a single camera format as possible with blocking and coverage. It all gets edited together to give the actor perspective on pace, sizing and simply the technical aspects of acting for camera and creating a presence on-screen. It all moves pretty fast and there is little time for capturing moments in-between or during scene-work. That said, here are a few snapshots of class along with some moments from shooting.
