Frequently Asked Questions
- 01
YES.
All actors new to the studio must complete one of the following intensives to be eligible for ongoing classes:
ACTING FUNDAMENTALS – Designed for beginners, actors with a theater background and limited on-camera experience, and working actors who are new to the studio. OR
FUNDAMENTALS+ – Designed for actors and filmmakers with extensive on-camera experience.
These introductory courses are required before requesting placement in ongoing classes. Completion of either course familiarizes actors with the studio’s approach, terminology, audition philosophy, and method of training.
We regularly place advanced actors—including those who have starred in feature films, television series, or hold BFA/MFA degrees—into these prerequisite classes as an essential part of their training at the studio.
Please Note: Completion of Fundamentals or Fundamentals+ does not guarantee placement in an ongoing class. Actors may request to be added to the waiting list, and advancement depends on instructor evaluation and class availability.
